Assistant Caretaker

Position Overview The Assistant Caretaker supports the day-to-day activities at Goosewing Farm located in Little Compton. The position is hands-on and varied, requiring someone comfortable working both indoors and outdoors, following directions, and assisting with a wide range of tasks. The role is designed as seasonal support. Key Responsibilities Assist with general grounds upkeep including buildings, grounds and gardens Weekly trash/dump runs, mail delivery and pickup, cleaning, weeding and watering Help maintain clean and organized spaces such as barns, garages and workspaces Documentation of work performed and communication with team via Google Drive Candidate qualifications Close proximity to Little Compton Communication is key both verbally and written Attention to detail and strong work ethic Reliable, dependable, and able to perform directed tasks Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Basic familiarity with landscaping, property maintenance, or farm work preferred Ability to lift and move materials (50+ lbs) Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work Someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work Able to take on a variety of tasks and adapt to changing needs
