This role is a great fit for someone with softball experience who enjoys mentoring athletes, assisting during practices and games, and being part of a strong team environment throughout the travel season. Responsibilities Assist with practices, drills, conditioning, and player development Support the head coach during games and tournaments Help teach softball fundamentals including hitting, fielding, base running, and game awareness Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and a positive culture Assist with equipment setup, warmups, and game preparation Travel with the team for seasonal tournaments and scheduled events Communicate professionally with players, families, and staff Qualifications Previous softball playing or coaching experience preferred Strong communication and teamwork skills Comfortable working with youth athletes in a competitive environment Reliable transportation and flexibility for evening/weekend schedules Ability to travel seasonally for tournaments and games Energetic, dependable, and organized Schedule Part-time and seasonal. Practices typically begin in or near Noblesville, IN, with travel required during the season for tournaments and games. Pay Competitive seasonal coaching compensation based on experience and availability.
