Assistant Custodian (9-month/7-hour)

POSITION TITLE

Assistant Custodian - 9 month / 7 hour

QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or Equivalent Must be strong enough to do required work without being subjected to excessive danger to his/her person (i.e., be able to bend, twist and squat, work on a ladder without causing dizziness, to carry desks, tables and other heavy furniture or equipment,). Recommended minimum age requirements at initial employment- 21. Required physical before employment.

REPORTS TO

Principal (Director) or Principal's designee

RESPONSIBILITIES

Is responsible to the principal and shall perform duties as set forth by the principal Keeps campus free of paper and trash. Cleans and maintains restrooms and floors. Assists custodian as needed. Shall perform other position related duties as assigned by the principal within reason and not to exceed time limits. Must wear a lift belt when performing lifting duties.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

Salary and work year to be according to the current approved/applicable salary schedule .

EVALUATION

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Support Personnel.
