Job Description

Assistant Director (Operations & Program Lead) Full-Time | Onsite Tiny Treasures is looking for a strong, dependable leader to help us continue building an exceptional early learning experience for children, families, and staff. We are a family-run early learning center serving 110 children from infancy through age five, and we take pride in creating a center that feels both professional and personal. We believe relationships matter, teamwork matters, and yes… coffee probably matters too. This is not just an "office" position. We are looking for someone who can confidently lead operations, support teachers, maintain high standards, step into classrooms when needed, and occasionally solve problems before breakfast. What You'll Do This role partners closely with the Director to create a high-quality early learning environment that supports children, families, and staff through strong leadership, consistency, and positive culture. Some other notable (and sometimes adventurous) responsibilities include: Supporting daily operations and staffing needs Helping maintain classroom quality, organization, and licensing compliance Coaching, mentoring, and supporting teachers Leading classroom observations and curriculum implementation Assisting with scheduling, ratios, and classroom coverage Creating a positive experience for both families and staff Supporting safety procedures, emergency drills, and center readiness Stepping into leadership responsibilities during Director absences Helping build consistency, accountability, and professionalism across the team Jumping in wherever needed, because in childcare, no two days are ever the same

Minimum Work Requirements:
Minimum 1 year of teaching experience in a licensed childcare center Minimum 1 year of supervisory, leadership, or mentoring experience Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to lead calmly under pressure Positive, team-oriented attitude Strong classroom management and child development knowledge Ability to support multiple classrooms and changing needs throughout the day
Preferred:
