Position Summary This position may be eligible for a hybrid work arrangement that may include a partially remote work location, consistent with System Office policy. UNC Chapel Hill employees are generally required to reside within a reasonable commuting distance of their assigned duty station. UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School offers top-ranked graduate programs that focus on developing well-rounded leaders, thoroughly prepared to enter professional roles in business and accounting when their studies are complete. We achieve this goal by upholding a rigorous curriculum, taught by leading scholars in the field; by focusing on discipline-specific courses, as well as courses in leadership, communications, and professionalism: and by giving students hands-on knowledge with the use of case studies and simulations. Reporting to the Senior Associate Director of Academics, the Assistant Director of Academics is a key point of contact for faculty and students. They work directly with the Senior Associate Director of Academics to execute the academic strategies for our Masters programs, including the Master of Accounting and Master of Science in Management programs across campus and online formats. The Assistant Director is responsible for developing and executing faculty engagement and communications strategies, scheduling classes, faculty onboarding and training, supporting course production and developing curriculum, and collecting and analyzing data related to course offerings and surveys. They are responsible for the planning and execution of non-traditional classes, including immersion experiences. The Assistant Director will also be involved in academic and operational projects across the office portfolio, as needed. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. This position will be required to report Clery crimes to the Clery Compliance Manager and complete annual training about reporting responsibilities.
