Job Overview Baptist Homes of Tri County is seeking a compassionate and experienced Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) who is a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join our faith-based leadership team. The ADON plays a key role in supporting the Director of Nursing in managing clinical operations, ensuring quality care delivery, and mentoring nursing staff while upholding our Christ-centered mission. Responsibilities Assist the Director of Nursing in managing the daily operations of the nursing department Provide leadership, support, and clinical oversight to LPNs, CNAs, and CMTs Ensure compliance with all regulatory guidelines (state, federal, CMS, OSHA) Participate in developing and implementing individualized care plans Audit clinical documentation and medication administration records for accuracy Support staff development through education, training, and mentoring Promote infection control practices and workplace safety Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams, physicians, and families for resident care Participate in hiring, onboarding, and evaluations of nursing staff Serve as a role model of compassionate, Christlike care in all interactions Qualifications Current and valid Missouri RN license (Required) At least 2 years of nursing experience in a long-term care or senior living environment (Required) Prior leadership or charge nurse experience preferred CPR/BLS certification Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Strong clinical judgment, organizational skills, and leadership capabilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Committed to the mission, vision, and Statement of Faith of Baptist Homes & Healthcare Ministries Preferred Traits Positive and professional demeanor Reliable, adaptable, and solution-focused Values mentorship and team development High level of integrity and accountability Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and care planning systems Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay Retirement plan options Faith-centered, mission-driven work culture Opportunities for advancement and leadership training If you're a servant-hearted RN leader ready to make an eternal impact, apply today to join the Baptist Homes of Tri County family and
