Assistant Fresh Foods Manager We are hiring an Assistant Fresh Foods Manager to support daily operations in our Fresh Foods Department. This role helps lead a team of associates, ensures excellent customer service, and maintains high standards in food quality, safety, and presentation. Responsibilities Provide outstanding customer service and assist with customer requests. Support and supervise department associates, including training and scheduling. Assist with food preparation such as slicing meats and cheeses, baking, frying, and creating trays. Maintain inventory levels, stock products, and reduce out‑of‑stocks. Ensure a clean, safe, and organized department. Help monitor sales, labor, and department performance. Support hiring, onboarding, and cross‑training. Perform opening and closing procedures as needed. Requirements Previous food service, grocery, or retail leadership experience preferred. Strong communication and customer service skills. Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs intermittently and 100 lbs occasionally (team lifting available). Reliable, professional, and committed to excellent service. Schedule Full‑time. Weekend and holiday availability required.
