Job Description

Job Summary Pizzaiolo Primo is a well-established, local polished casual Italian restaurant that continues to grow. We are looking for a passionate, experienced Assistant General Manager. This individual must have a true passion for food, a high level of wine and bar operation knowledge and an unrelenting drive to provide an exceptional guest experience. The candidate requires a minimum of 2 years' experience in a full-service, polished casual, high-volume dining establishment. Italian concept experience a plus. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant General Manager to support our General Manager in overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality, possess strong leadership skills, and have a proven track record of driving excellence in both guest satisfaction and team performance. This person will oversee all front-of-the-house (FOH) functions on an opening, mid., or closing shift to include guest relations, supervision of all staff and staffing levels, proper restaurant ambience & beverage quality. Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
Lead and inspire a team of servers, bartenders, chefs, and support staff. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by setting clear expectations and providing regular feedback. Recruit, train, and develop staff to ensure exceptional customer service. 2.
Operations Management:
Oversee daily restaurant operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth and efficient service. Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage budgets to optimize profitability. Implement and enforce company policies and procedures. 3.
Customer Service and Guest Experience:
Ensure that guests receive outstanding service and a memorable dining experience. Address guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback promptly and professionally. Maintain a welcoming and clean restaurant environment. 4.
Financial Management:
•Ensure compliance with all accounting and cash handling procedures. 5.
Quality Control:
Uphold the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and consistency. Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop and refine menu offerings. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of AGM/GM experience in a full-service, polished casual, high-volume restaurant. Strong knowledge of wines, and beverages is preferred. Excellent leadership and team-building skills. Outstanding customer service and communication skills. Ability to manage financial aspects of the restaurant effectively. Strong understanding of cost and labor systems that lead to restaurant profitability. Strong communication and leadership skills. Stable and progressive work history; Strong work ethic Able to work extended periods of time, with extensive standing/walking. May lift materials and/or product up to 50 pounds or more.
Pay:
$58,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
