Assistant General Manager for Restaurant

Port Fish and Chop House is a waterfront restaurant in Kennebunkport seeking bright and energetic Assistant General Managers with an aptitude for providing effortless service. You will be working in a beautifully renovated restuarant with a Patio, waterfront dining and a lively bar scene. We want you to oversee the dining room, check-in with customers and manage staff at the registers. Responsibilities :

Coordinate daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints Organize and supervise shifts Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations Promote the brand in the local community through word-of-mouth and restaurant events Train new and current employees on proper customer service practices

Assist General Manager Skills :

Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager, Asst. General Manager, Hospitality Manager or similar role Proven customer service experience as a manager Food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff Familiarity with restaurant POS software Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
