Job Description

Overview Double Eagle Club is seeking a motivated, service‑oriented Assistant Golf Professional to support daily golf operations, deliver exceptional member and guest experiences, and contribute to the overall success of the club. This position is ideal for an individual currently enrolled in a PGM program or actively pursuing PGA membership. The Assistant Golf Professional will play a key role in golf shop operations, outside services, events, and member engagement at a high‑end private club. Key Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the daily management of the golf shop and outside operations Coordinate tee sheets, golf reservations, and caddie assignments Conduct opening and closing procedures for golf operations Oversee merchandising initiatives and support retail sales efforts Assist in the planning, organization, and execution of golf events and tournaments Provide exceptional customer service to members and guests while upholding club standards Qualifications & Requirements Currently enrolled in a PGA Golf Management (PGM) program or a Class A PGA Professional (or actively pursuing PGA membership) Previous experience in golf operations, preferably at a private club or high‑end facility Strong knowledge of the game of golf, including rules and etiquette Proficiency with golf management software (Jonas experience preferred) Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and extended hours during peak season Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience End‑of‑season bonus Uniform allowance Merchandise discounts This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in a premier golf environment while continuing professional development within the PGA.
