Description is located in the beautiful Rocky Mountains, located in the old mining town of Fairplay, CO, at an elevation of 10,000 ft. Elk, deer, antelope, and moose are abundant, and hiking, camping, fishing, and skiing are only a few of the activities in our area. Breckenridge Ski area is located 23 miles from Fairplay. Our campus is home to Edith Teter Elementary Preschool, Edith Teter Elementary, and South Park Middle and High School. Home of the BURROS! Students attend our school from the surrounding towns of Alma, Como, Jefferson, Hartsel, Guffey, Lake George, and of course, Fairplay. Students and staff enjoy a four-day school week, Monday-Thursday, 7:30-4:30.
