Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager and take the lead in driving store success through exceptional management, customer service, and operational excellence. In this energetic role, you will support daily store functions, motivate your team, and ensure a seamless shopping experience for all customers. Your leadership will be pivotal in fostering a positive environment, managing inventory, and implementing sales strategies that boost performance. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management skills while making a meaningful impact in a fast-paced retail setting. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, including sales, staffing, and customer service initiatives Lead and supervise team members to ensure high standards of employee orientation, training & development, and performance management Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing to optimize sales and minimize shrinkage Handle cashiering duties such as cash handling, POS transactions, and ensuring accurate checkout processes Support recruiting efforts by participating in interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees Coordinate shift management, scheduling, and employee supervision to maintain smooth store operations Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities to enhance store visibility and sales performance Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervisory responsibilities Strong skills in negotiation, customer service, and communication to effectively lead teams and engage customers Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases Proficiency in retail math, POS systems, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory management software Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks efficiently Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and attention to detail Experience with grocery stores or similar retail environments is a plus; familiarity with wireless sales or merchandising is advantageous Ability to handle cash handling accurately and adhere to store policies on pricing and sales management Embark on a rewarding career where your leadership fuels success! Pay:
$40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
