Assistant Manager

Tired of late nights and corporate restaurant structure? Looking for a hands-on leadership role where your culinary skills and wine knowledge actually matter? We're a locally owned Neighborhood Butcher Shoppe and Wine Bar — established in East Cobb and now re-opening our Crabapple/Milton location. This is our 2nd location, with a 3rd already planned, so there's real room to grow with us. We're hiring an Assistant Manager with culinary experience and/or wine knowledge to help bring this neighborhood spot back to life.

What makes this role different:

• No late nights — closed by 8pm weekdays, 9pm weekends
• Consistent schedule, 40-45 hours/week
• Work directly with the owners
• Major holidays off — Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day (and the day after), Easter
• Two weeks paid vacation
• Real path to higher-level management as we open our 3rd location What you'll do:
• Run shifts and lead the team during service (retail, wine bar, and restaurant)
• Provide warm, knowledgeable hospitality and build relationships with regulars
• Support kitchen prep, basic butchery (or learn it), and food quality
• Guide guests through our wine and beer selection
• Keep the shop clean, stocked, and running smoothly
• Grow into ordering, scheduling, and menu/guest experience input over time What we're looking for:
• Culinary experience and/or wine knowledge — both a big plus
• Background in kitchen, food service, butcher shop, or wine bar
• Comfortable leading a team and making decisions during a shift
• Willingness to learn butchery if not already experienced
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team-first attitude
• Creative mindset — bring ideas to the kitchen, service flow, and guest experience

Compensation & Benefits:

Salary:

$53,000 - $55,000

• Two weeks paid vacation
