Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic hospitality team as an Assistant Restaurant Manager, where your passion for exceptional service and culinary excellence will shine! In this vibrant role, you'll support the Food & Beverage department by overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, and ensuring that every guest experiences top-tier food service. Your energetic leadership will help create memorable dining experiences across casual dining, catering, and bar settings. We're looking for a motivated professional eager to grow their management skills and elevate our food service standards in a fast-paced environment. Duties Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, including shift management and ensuring smooth service flow. Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service, POS system (Micros POS), and food safety protocols. Manage cash handling procedures accurately during service hours and reconcile daily sales reports. Implement staff training programs focused on hospitality management, food safety, and customer engagement. Collaborate with management to develop budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize food cost controls. Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards across all food & beverage outlets. Marketing & participation of any Food & Beverage related events whether in house or outside the hotel as representation of the DoubleTree by Hilton, Bristol. Creative approach to craft cocktail & beer program & associated training of team members. Experience Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within a quick service or fast-food restaurant environment. Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary best practices. Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking. Strong background in inventory control, food safety standards, and kitchen management. Experience in managing teams within casual dining, fine dining, catering or hotel settings is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to handle cash transactions accurately and perform shift management efficiently. Previous hospitality management experience with a focus on customer service excellence and staff development is preferred. $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
