Assistant Manager - Restaurant

1905 Featuring Fox's Pizza and Teddys Bourbon Bar in downtown Prattville is looking for manager candidates to join our managemt team. Our managers are hands, on working side by side with our staff to ensure a positive customer service experience while keeping a keen eye on our quality and service standards. Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to quality standards in food preparation, presentation, and customer service. Manage staff schedules, supervise team members, and coordinate shift coverage to maintain optimal staffing levels for quick service and fine dining experiences. Train, develop, and mentor staff on food handling, service standards, and, cleanliness expectations Control inventory levels through effective stock management, ordering supplies as needed while minimizing waste and controlling costs. Handle cash transactions accurately, perform cash handling duties, and reconcile registers at the end of each shift. Support management team in budgeting efforts, food production planning, catering operations, and special event coordination Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, resolving guest concerns promptly, and fostering a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. CURRENT Proven experience in food service management or restaurant supervision within quick service & fast food or casual dining environments. Strong background in culinary operations, food preparation techniques, or kitchen management. Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training, team management, interviewing candidates, and developing talent. Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling expertise required. Knowledge of inventory control practices, food safety standards Excellent communication skills with a passion for hospitality management and customer service excellence. Previous shift leader, assistant manager or supervisory experience in a restaurant setting required;

Pay:

$36,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
