Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team at our Danville, United States location. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Oversee daily store operations and lead shifts efficientlyManage and motivate team members to achieve performance goalsHandle customer interactions and resolve issues professionallyEnsure compliance with food safety regulations and company policiesManage cash transactions and maintain accurate financial recordsAssist in inventory management and supply orderingContribute to a positive work environment and team moraleParticipate in employee training and development initiativesMaintain store cleanliness and organizationAssist in implementing marketing promotions and sales strategiesCollaborate with the General Manager on store performance improvementsQualificationsProven experience in a supervisory role, preferably in the food service industryStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsProficiency in cash handling and basic accounting principlesAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilitiesKnowledge of food safety regulations and best practicesProficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applicationsExcellent time management and organizational skillsAbility to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periodsStrong verbal and written communication skillsFlexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent; further education in business management is a plusAdditional InformationWhat are we looking for? Assistant Manager:
- Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 30 people. You will need to use your stellar attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license
- A great role model - you're the person everyone will look to. From being on time for your shift, to having a great attitude to customers and co-workers and even how you dress - you have to have high standards for yourself and the rest of the team.
- Our stores are open 365 days a week. Yes, that's right even on the weekends and the holidays; that's when we are busiest! While you schedule is pretty flexible, you have to be willing to work when the team needs you the most.
- You have to be at least 18 years old.
