Great way to get some extra cash or experience under your belt. Duties will be to assist the manager in operating fireworks stand and help check up on workers and cary worker duties. Excell or any business or math experience is preferred but not needed. Work consist of being outside you wont be in the direct sun you will be in the shade 95 percent of the time but it is summer so it will be hot out. You will get paid in cash at the end of the season and if you have a second job I will work with your schedule all I ask is that you are available the 4th and the 5th of July all day. Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately. As a Cashier, you will be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience while efficiently processing transactions. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their shopping experience. Operate cash registers and POS systems to process sales transactions accurately. Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions while maintaining a balanced cash drawer. Assist customers with inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Maintain cleanliness and organization at the checkout area. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth store operations. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance and support as needed. Perform basic math calculations to ensure accurate change is given to customers. Promote and sell store products by providing information about features and benefits. Requirements Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred. Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members. Proficiency in cash handling and operating cash registers or POS systems. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. A friendly demeanor with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
