Assistant Manager/Sales Associate

Job Overview:

Seeking an individual with a pleasing personality, who can easily manage uncomfortable situations. This person enjoys working with people and is able to utilize their organizational skills to help run the daily operations of a retail store. It's important for all of our team members to support each other positively and promote a healthy workplace.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Maintaining the well being of all team members is the highest priority.
• Handle customer needs when other team members need assistance.
• Be able to run the cash register, check customers out, and manage returns.
• Have confidence in making decisions.
• Provide conflict resolution solutions for customers and staff.
• Interact with non-customer inquiries, such as new vendor solicitations.
• Assist with product research, new product appropriateness, and replacement products.
• Create the monthly work schedule for team members.
• Having availability to fill in if another team member is unable to work.
• Verify time cards, and log in the appropriate form.
• Keep the Herb of the Week going with minimal repeats.
• Maintain a consistent class schedule, contact and vet people conducting classes.
• Community involvement and representation of the store - attend meetings such as Chamber of Commerce, man booths at events, possible public speaking opportunities, etc.

Qualifications:

• Over 21 years old
• A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ensure that all customers and clients feel welcome and are given responsive, friendly and courteous service at all times.
• Must be able to accommodate scheduling expectations including some Saturdays.
• Promote a work environment that is positive, customer-service oriented, and compliant with established policies and procedures.
• Punctual and reliable with your own reliable transportation.
• Discreet with all customer and store information.
• Signed Non-Disclosure Agreement.
• Cash handling.
• Honest and Trustworthy.
• Professional, tidy appearance and good personal hygiene.
• Health conscious and willing to learn more.

Pay:

$22.00 - $26.00 per hour
