Overview Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager/Sales Associate, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional customer experiences and support our property management operations. This role combines sales expertise with administrative prowess, ensuring smooth leasing processes, compliance with housing regulations, and outstanding service delivery. You'll be a vital part of a fast-paced environment dedicated to fostering positive relationships with residents, vendors, and team members alike. Duties Assist in leasing properties by showcasing units, explaining lease terms, and upselling available amenities to prospective tenants. Manage property leasing documentation, including contracts, applications, and renewal paperwork with accuracy and attention to detail. Coordinate property maintenance requests and facilities management tasks using systems like Yardi or OneSite to ensure timely resolution. Conduct tenant screenings in compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law to promote fair and equitable leasing practices. Maintain accurate data entry of tenant information, rent payments, and service requests within property management software such as LIHTC or Yardi. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette and conflict management skills. Support administrative functions including filing, record keeping, and managing correspondence related to property management activities. Collaborate with team members on lease negotiations, contract renewals, and resolving tenant concerns to foster positive relationships. Skills Strong knowledge of LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit), Section 8 housing programs, and Fair Housing regulations. Proficiency in property management software such as Yardi, OneSite, or similar platforms; experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) is a plus. Legal administrative experience related to landlord-tenant law, contracts, and lease agreements. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell properties effectively while maintaining professionalism under pressure. Solid understanding of property leasing processes, property maintenance coordination, and facilities management principles. Effective negotiation skills combined with conflict management abilities to resolve tenant issues amicably. Office experience including data entry, filing systems, and handling administrative tasks efficiently. Knowledge of real estate administrative procedures along with strong organizational skills for multitasking in a fast-paced environment. $20.85 - $28.73 per hour
