Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and dependable Assistant Mechanic to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for someone looking to build hands-on experience working with equipment maintenance, repairs, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Primary responsibilities include:

Assisting mechanics with routine maintenance, inspections, and minor repairs on rental equipment Preparing equipment for rental and ensuring equipment is clean, safe, and ready for customer use Performing routine equipment checks to identify maintenance or safety concerns Assisting with loading and unloading rental equipment Supporting equipment deliveries and pickups as needed Greeting customers and assisting with questions regarding equipment operation and rentals Maintaining an organized, clean, and safe work environment Learning equipment diagnostics and repair procedures under supervision

Qualifications:

We are looking for individuals who have: A positive attitude and strong work ethic Mechanical aptitude or an interest in learning equipment maintenance and repair Effective communication skills The ability to work well independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs

Requirements:

Valid driver's license required Must be 18 years of age or older Previous mechanical experience is helpful but not required — willing to train the right candidate

Schedule:

No nights Overtime available Saturdays required Closed Sundays Typically scheduled 45 hours per week

Pay:

From $19.00 per hour
