This energetic position combines administrative excellence with leadership, supporting clinical staff and managing office functions to deliver exceptional patient care. Duties Oversee daily office operations, including scheduling, patient flow, and administrative workflows to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction Supervise front desk staff, dental assistants, and administrative personnel, providing guidance and support to foster a collaborative team environment Manage medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and other privacy standards Utilize EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or eClinicalWorks to maintain accurate patient data and treatment histories Coordinate billing, coding, and insurance claims processing to optimize revenue cycle management and ensure timely payments Assist with fiscal management tasks including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource allocation to support practice sustainability Support human resources functions such as onboarding new staff, training, performance evaluations, and maintaining staffing schedules Ensure clinic compliance with healthcare regulations like JCAHO standards and managed care protocols Handle medical administrative support duties including appointment confirmations, patient communications, and managing medical supplies inventory Qualifications Proven experience in dental office management or healthcare administration with strong familiarity in medical office operations Prior supervisory experience leading teams within a clinical or medical setting Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic or eClinicalWorks is essential Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and healthcare regulations Strong fiscal management skills including budgeting, financial reporting, and resource planning Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail in managing medical records and administrative workflows Background in dental clinic experience or related healthcare environments highly preferred Effective communication skills for collaborating with staff, patients, insurance providers, and vendors Embark on a rewarding journey where your leadership fuels exceptional patient experiences while advancing your expertise in medical office management.
