Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Assistant Preschool Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will support lead teachers in creating a nurturing, engaging, and educational environment for young children. Your energy and dedication will help foster a love of learning, promote social-emotional development, and ensure each child's individual needs are met. Duties Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards such as Montessori or other preschool frameworks Support classroom management by encouraging positive behavior and guiding children through routines and activities Help facilitate literacy, math, and early childhood development activities that promote curiosity and foundational skills Engage children in age-appropriate play, learning exercises, and social interactions to foster development across all domains Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages exploration and independence Communicate effectively with children, parents, and team members to support individual needs and progress Assist with classroom documentation, attendance records, and progress reports for ongoing assessment Requirements Prior experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or private school setting is preferred Knowledge of childhood development principles, behavior management techniques, and classroom management strategies Familiarity with special education practices and working with children with autism or disabilities is a plus Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and families Ability to follow lesson plans while adapting to the needs of individual children Certification or coursework in early childhood education or related fields is advantageous Passion for working with children, patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for fostering learning Join us as an Assistant Preschool Teacher where your dedication fuels joyful learning experiences!
