Jul 1, 2026 Job Description Union County High School is seeking a highly-effective, qualified, & proven leader to serve as Assistant Principal beginning with the 2026-27 school year. The position requires active administrative certification or Statement of Eligibility (SOE) for Instructional Leadership - School Principal issued by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board (EPSB). In addition, the preferred applicant will have successful, progressive, and innovative administrative experience, preferably at the high school level. The preferred applicant will also demonstrate the ability to proactively support and lead faculty and staff in sound instructional practices, effective communication/interaction skills, and embrace a continuous growth/improvement mindset. The candidate will strive to "Inspire the Champion Within" each employee & student at Union County High School. Applicants must provide qualifying credentials: Official Transcripts and the applicable EPSB certification: Teaching Certificate, or Statement of Eligibility, Other Qualifying Certification Credentials Effective 4/4/2018, All applicants must present a letter from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) stating that the applicant has no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect.
