Job Description:
My client, a growing infrastructure and technology organisation is seeking a Data Center Project manager / Project Engineer to support the delivery of mission-critical construction projects. This is a junior Project manager role working on OFCI projects for there hyperscale facilities in Chicago. The client have over 10 facilities across North America and are growing rapidly providing facilities for some of the biggest clients globally. They have circa 150 employees and have over 10 billion of assets currently. You will work alongside internal teams, contractors, consultants, and vendors supporting projects throughout the full construction lifecycle. You will helping to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with technical and operational standards. The role will involve assisting with the planning, coordination, implementation, and commissioning of data center infrastructure projects. You will support technical documentation and engineering deliverables, coordinating with project stakeholders, monitoring installation progress, and helping to maintain quality standards across all stages of delivery. You will also support the deployment of critical infrastructure systems including power, cooling, and structured cabling solutions, while assisting with project tracking, reporting, procurement activities, and contractor coordination. You should be an individual willing to work with GC to ensure projects are delivered on time, working and communicating with different business units internally also. You should have a technical background in Electrical or mechanical engineering to be considered. The salary and package is up to $140,000 and you will be working onsite in Chicago
