Assistant Property Manager

We are looking for a part-time Assistant Property Manager to split their time between our Spring Lake property and our Zeeland property. The number of hours would be 16 hours per week in Spring Lake and 8 hours per week in Zeeland. Both of these apartment complexes provided subsidized housing to qualified elderly residents. Residents receive housing assistance through the HUD Section 8 202 Housing Assistance Program. This part-time position involves a range of responsibilities to assist the Senior Property Manager at both locations. These responsibilities are mostly administrative and clerical in nature but also involve some tenant interaction. Some of these duties may include but are not limited to the following: Preparing/organizing paperwork for tenant recertifications and for Move-In files; processing applications; answering phones; preparing routine monthly reports; receiving/processing mail; receiving/processing tenant rent checks. Employment is through Lockhart Management and Consulting which specializes in management of similar facilities throughout West Michigan. Training and supervision are provided and ongoing. $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
