Job Description

Job Summary Join our Rivas Property Management Team as an Assistant Property Manager, where your energy and enthusiasm will drive exceptional resident experiences and streamline property operations. In this vital role, you will support the property management team in overseeing leasing activities, maintaining compliance with Fair Housing regulations, and ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our residential communities. Your proactive approach and customer service skills will help foster a welcoming environment for residents , while your attention to detail ensures operational excellence across all facets of property management. Duties Assist in managing leasing processes, including property tours, application processing, and lease signing. Support compliance Fair Housing laws to ensure legal adherence. Utilize property management software to accurately enter data, generate reports, and maintain resident records. Handle customer inquiries via phone and in person with professionalism and courtesy, providing excellent customer service at all times. Coordinate property maintenance requests and oversee vendor relationships for timely repairs. Assist in lease renewals, rent collection, and delinquency follow-up to optimize occupancy rates and revenue. Maintain organized filing systems for legal documents, contracts, tenant files, and compliance records. Support conflict resolution efforts between residents. Contribute to facilities management tasks such as inspecting common areas, ensuring safety standards are met, and supporting general office operations. Experience Proven experience in property management or real estate administrative roles with a strong understanding of landlord-tenant law. Familiarity with Fair Housing regulations and legal administrative procedures. Hands-on experience using property management software is highly preferred. Demonstrated ability in customer service roles within property leasing or real estate settings. Strong administrative skills including data entry, filing, office procedures, and phone etiquette. Knowledge of facilities management practices and basic property maintenance coordination is advantageous. Experience negotiating contracts or agreements related to property leasing or vendor services is a plus.

Assistant manager: 1 year (Preferred)
