Job Description:
Silver Leaf Property Management is looking for an experienced Full-Time Assistant Property Manager to join our Yankton team. This position rewards hard work with unlimited commission earning potential! We need someone who is self-motivated, well-organized, demonstrates effective communication skills, and thrives in a team environment. As an Assistant Property Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to achieve occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals by providing excellent customer service and demonstrating a competitive spirit. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Promote a positive living experience for all of our residents and ensure all decisions made represent our companies core values. Performing check ins and check outs Leasing of units with commission incentives Work with residents to collect past due rent and late fees Work with the Property Manager to maintain proper paperwork for all new and current residents Maintain current leases, renewing with residents as leases expire Daily walks of all assigned properties, taking note of maintenance needs and picking up trash as needed. Reporting building, resident and property service requests to the maintenance department Ensure all vacant units are rent-ready and all rented apartments are ready for move-in Other duties as assigned by supervisor Qualifications and Skills Ability and desire to work hard with little downtime throughout the day Strong written and verbal communication skills You must value customer service and want to interact with our clients Above average computer skills, including working knowledge of all Microsoft Office products. Excellent organizational skills Able to multitask and prioritize quickly. Want to work closely within a team Conflict resolution skills and the ability/desire to solve problems

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
High school degree or equivalent Basic computer skills including MS word, excel and outlook Prior experience in property management or related industry preferred Two (2) years prior customer service experience preferred Strong and competitive sales skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Well-organized and self-motivated individual with an attention to detail
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 18 years or older Must have a valid driver's license with reliable transportation Must be able to pass a criminal background check
