Informs customers of space availability, rental regulations, and rates. Assists customers in selection of storage unit size according to articles or material to be stored. Assists customer in completing rental agreement. The Assistant Property Manager may be required to travel to other facilities to provide support during staff shortages, high-demand periods, or special projects. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently while contributing to the overall success of the company. Job Duties include, but are not limited to: Providing exceptional customer service to our customers and generate sales leads over the phone as well as walk-in customers. Recommending unit sizes and services based on customers' needs. Communicating leasing process to customers. Making customer calls regarding their account, collections, and other items, documenting notes on the computer system. Conducts daily physical storage unit inspection, confirm inventory availability and ensure spaces are secure and/or ready to rent. Managing, auditing, and balancing cash drawer, preparing and making daily deposits. Performing cleaning and maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, and picking up trash and wiping windows to ensure a great customer experience. Traveling to other properties to provide support as needed for efficient business operations. Performing other duties as assigned.
