The Assistant Residential Manager supports and helps coordinate the day-to-day operations of an assigned location within Progressions. This role is responsible for carrying out duties in a professional, organized, and efficient manner to promote optimal resident outcomes and maintain a high level of satisfaction among both internal and external customers.Duties and Responsibilities :
Attend team meetings, review incident reports, and communicate resident or staff concerns to leadership as needed Support, train, and mentor direct care staff to promote quality care and resident growth and independence Provide new hire orientation and ongoing staff training to ensure compliance with company policies and care standards Coordinate resident appointments, transportation, and appointment preparation as needed Maintain accurate medication documentation and ensure medications are administered and reconciled in accordance with company policy and applicable regulations Coordinate with pharmacies and medical providers to ensure prescriptions and medication records remain current and accurate Assist with meal planning, grocery budgeting, and household organization Monitor and support the emotional and physical well-being of residents while maintaining a safe and supportive environment Maintain program cleanliness, organization, and professionalism to promote a welcoming, home-like atmosphere Perform additional duties as assignedRequirements :
High School Diploma or GED Valid State of Michigan driver's license and insurable driving record CPR certification or willingness to obtain Minimum of one year of experience working with developmentally disabled or catastrophically injured individuals, including those with traumatic brain injuries preferred Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and work independently Ability to safely perform physical tasks associated with resident care and supportPhysical Requirements :
Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time Ability to walk and stand for prolonged periods throughout the workday Ability to operate computers, tablets, phones, and other office equipment as required Ability to lift, move, and/or transport objects weighing up to 50 pounds Ability to safely perform physical tasks related to resident care, support, and emergency intervention when necessary Willingness and ability to travel up to 20% as required for appointments, trainings, meetings, or program needs Join our team and make a real difference!
