We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Store Manager to join our Pool Store retail team! In this pivotal role, you will support the store leadership in driving sales, managing daily operations, and delivering exceptional customer service. Your enthusiasm and leadership skills will help foster a positive shopping environment, motivate team members, and ensure operational excellence. Duties Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations, including sales, inventory control, and staff management Lead by example in delivering outstanding customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at every touchpoint Cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) transactions with accuracy and integrity Oversee inventory management, purchasing, and merchandising to maximize sales potential Supervise shift management duties such as scheduling, supervising staff performance, and ensuring store standards are maintained Utilize strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and resolve customer issues promptly Maintain organizational skills to ensure the store remains clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times Qualifications
POOL KNOWLEDGE A MUST
Proven experience in retail sales or store management with a focus on team supervision and leadership roles Strong knowledge of retail math, inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customers Hands-on experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail math calculations Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience is preferred; leadership qualities are essential Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed for shift management.
