ASSISTANT TEACHER

• 4 years old. We are excited about the expansion of this program. They are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Assistant Teacher to join their team. Salary

Employee Assistance Program Days/Hours:

M-F, 8am-4pm. This is a 35

• hour work week.

12 month program Responsibilities for the

Assistant Teacher:

• Assist in directing activities for the children, field trips and selecting the equipment and materials for the classroom
• Maintain a safe and healthy classroom environment
• Integrate IEPs into the lesson plans
• Assist in maintaining an ongoing portfolio assessment for each child
• Support in the management, overall direction, and evaluation of the classroom
• Perform other duties as assigned Requirements for the

Assistant Teacher:

An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching early childhood education in a classroom setting Ability to work with parents, teachers and faculty Thorough understanding of local, state and other federal guidelines Bilingual Spanish or Bengali is strongly preferred Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to provide 2 professional references Apply today for immediate consideration! #indperm
