Job Description

Overview:
Assist with daily activities including feeding, diapering, and engaging children in age-appropriate play and learning  Help develop and implement a creative program suitable for young children using a variety of educational techniques such as storytelling, educational play, and hands-on activities  Monitor and supervise children at all times, maintaining a safe and positive environment  Observe each child to support their social development and build self-esteem; encourage children to interact with one another  Observe and document children's behavior and progress; communicate effectively with parents and staff  Greet parents warmly and address children by name to build trusting relationships  Organize nap and snack times and ensure children are safe at all times  Attend staff meetings and required training sessions Requirements High school diploma or GED required Some roles may prefer a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or CPR/First Aid certification  Strong communication skills, patience, teamwork, and basic knowledge of child development  Must pass a state and company background check Negative TB test within the past 12 months may be required What We're Looking For A warm, nurturing personality with genuine love for children Ability to work collaboratively with a lead teacher and staff Reliability and professionalism Physical ability to lift up to 40 lbs and be active throughout the day Compensation & Schedule $16.00/hour Full-Time | 40 hours/week
