Assistant Teacher - School Age

Wee Care Child Development Center in Sanatoga, is a licensed childcare center seeking an Assistant Teacher for our School Age classroom ! To be

QUALIFIED

for this position, we require a high school diploma OR GED and the ability to pass all background checks. Must have at least two years of experience working with children.

Required Shift:

Monday - Friday, Part-time 2-6pm

Compensation:

Main Job Responsibilities:

Support lead teacher in all aspects of the classroom. Implement activities that encourage each child's growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development. Take initiative, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program. Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children. Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children. Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs. Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
