Job Description

Job Summary All positions plays a vital role in supporting the educational environment within a classroom setting. This position is ideal for individuals passionate about fostering learning and development in students, particularly those in preschool and private school settings. Staff will work closely with the teacher to implement lesson plans, manage classroom activities, and provide individualized support to students, including those with autism. Duties Assist the teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities. Support classroom management by maintaining a positive and productive learning environment. Provide assistance in literacy education and math instruction to enhance student understanding. Engage with students during lessons, offering additional support as needed. Help with lesson planning by contributing ideas and resources that cater to diverse learning needs. Supervise students during playtime and other non-instructional periods, ensuring their safety and well-being. Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional development. Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress and needs. Assist in caring for possibly infant thru Preschool age when applicable, ensuring their developmental needs are met. Skills Strong classroom management skills to maintain an effective learning environment. Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff. Knowledge of literacy education strategies to support reading and writing development. Experience or understanding of working with children on the autism spectrum. Familiarity with preschool education principles and practices. Ability to contribute to lesson planning that engages young learners effectively. Basic math skills to assist in teaching foundational concepts. Experience in child care is a plus, enhancing the ability to support younger children.
