Assisted Living Companion

Overview:

I am seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to assist me with my daily routine Monday and Tuesday evenings. The hours are 6:30 to 10:15pm. Hours are flexible. There is always a possibility of adding more hours later and/or filling in for my other aides when they are on vacation or cannot come in. A short online paid orientation is required. Duties:

• Help me with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Provide companionship
• Assistance with medications
• Assistance with meal preparation and clean up
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Complete required paperwork such as timesheets
• Assistance with laundry
• Assistance with mobility
• Occasional shopping

Requirements:

• No experience required.

It's easy to learn my basic routines and the primary requirements are willingness to learn, good listening skills, following directions, an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude.
