Assisted Living Manager

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assisted Living Manager to oversee the daily operations of our senior care community. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in assisted living, nursing home management, and working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia. As the Assisted Living Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, managing staff, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Responsibilities Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assisted living facility, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to all regulatory requirements. Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to residents' needs, including Alzheimer's and memory care services. Supervise and lead staff members, providing training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to foster a motivated team environment. Coordinate medication administration and ensure compliance with healthcare protocols and safety regulations. Foster positive relationships with residents' families, healthcare providers, and community partners to promote a supportive environment. Ensure the facility maintains a clean, safe, and welcoming environment that promotes residents' dignity and independence. Lead initiatives in social work, resident engagement, and activities that enhance residents' well-being and social interaction. Experience Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management with a focus on senior care or long-term care environments. Extensive background working with individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia-related conditions such as Alzheimer's disease. Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising teams in group home settings or retirement homes. Strong knowledge of care plans development, medication management, and health & safety regulations. Familiarity with home & community care services and home care practices is highly desirable. Prior experience supervising staff in social work or healthcare roles is preferred to ensure comprehensive resident support. $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
