From your PASSION to ours Lactalis American Group , part of the Lactalis family of companies, is currently hiring a Associate Manager, Inventory Control based in Nampa, ID. Requirements The Associate Manager, Inventory Control role is responsible for driving inventory accuracy, system alignment, and control across the Nampa Distribution Center and external warehouse partners. This position plays a critical role in ensuring inventory integrity and operational continuity by leading cycle counts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining alignment across systems, operations, and third-party partners. You will act as a key connector between warehouse operations, customer service, quality, and IT—owning outcomes in a fast-paced environment. From yourEXPERTISE
to ours Key responsibilities for this position include: Own end-to-end inventory accuracy across the Nampa DC and external warehouse locations Lead cycle count execution, variance investigation, and corrective actions Establish and maintain inventory control standards, procedures, and documentation Plan and execute physical inventories , including reconciliation and reporting Serve as the subject matter expert for WMS systems (Infolog / Prism) and inventory alignment Identify, investigate, and resolve system-driven inventory discrepancies Partner with IT and operations to stabilize inventory during system transitions and integrations Build and release outbound loads to external partners (e.g., Americold) and ensure inventory availability Act as the primary inventory contact for third-party warehouses , ensuring accuracy and compliance Partner cross-functionally with Customer Service and QA to resolve order issues, holds, and disposition Monitor inventory risks (shortages, aging, misalignment) and take proactive action Maintain audit-ready inventory conditions and ensure compliance with safety and internal controls Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and flow Provide floor leadership and serve as backup to DC Supervisor , supporting daily warehouse operations From your STORY to ours Qualified applicants will contribute the following: Education Associate's degree or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered Experience 2-4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred Specialized Knowledge Experience with WMS platforms (Infolog, Prism, or similar systems) Understanding of inventory control practices including cycle counting, reconciliation, and FIFO Working knowledge of warehouse operations, shipping, and receiving processes Skills / Abilities Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (root cause mindset) Ability to own discrepancies and drive resolution across teams Strong communication and cross-functional coordination skills Ability to prioritize and execute in a fast-paced operational environment High level of accountability, organization, and attention to detail Professional Certifications Forklift certification or other warehouse certifications preferred Physical Requirements Ability to move throughout warehouse and office environments for extended periods Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs as needed Ability to operate or work around material handling equipment Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variation and noise Ability to wear required PPE Flexibility to support extended hours, weekends, or operational needs At Lactalis, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards Program with a variety of affordable benefits and coverage options.
