About Bike the Gorge Bike the Gorge is a full-service bike shop and showroom in Cascade Locks that specializes in electric bike tours, sales, service. We strive to be the friendliest bike shop in the Gorge, making everyone feel welcome and comfortable whether they've been riding their whole life or they're getting on a bike for the first time in years.

Job Overview :

We are looking for a passionate and enthusiastic individual to join our team at Bike the Gorge LLC as an Associate. As an Associate, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with e-bike test rides and sales, customer check-ins, and various office tasks to ensure a smooth operation of our retail showroom and bike rental and tour services.

Responsibilities :

Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner Provide information about our rental options and tour packages Assist customers with bike fittings and adjustments Process rental and tour reservations Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues in a timely manner

Requirements :

Willing to work weekends Excellent customer service skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Basic knowledge of bikes and cycling Must be able to lift and move heavy equipment (e.g. bikes) Prior retail or customer service experience is a plus This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $19 per hour.
