Job Description
Associate Advisor Our client is a fast-growing, planning-focused independent wealth management firm looking to add an Associate Advisor to their team. This is a great opportunity for an early-career advisor who wants more client exposure, stronger mentorship, and a clear path to grow inside a firm with real momentum. This role is ideal for someone who has a strong foundation in wealth management but does not want to spend their career cold calling or sitting in a purely administrative seat. Our client has built a strong client acquisition engine through educational events, digital marketing, webinars, client events, referrals, and other marketing channels. That means the right person will have the opportunity to plug into an established platform, support experienced advisors, learn the full client process, and grow into more responsibility over time. What We're Looking For Our client is looking for someone who is professional, coachable, organized, and serious about building a long-term career in wealth management. The ideal candidate enjoys client service, wants to learn from experienced advisors, and is motivated by the opportunity to grow into a larger advisory role.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
Our client has a great culture, a strong team environment, and a clear commitment to investing in people, systems, and growth. This is a firm with energy, momentum, and a platform designed to help advisors succeed. You will be working directly with experienced advisors in a team-based model, supporting client relationships, helping prepare for meetings, assisting with follow-up, and learning how successful advisors operate inside a growing advisory firm. For someone who wants mentorship, structure, client interaction, and upward mobility, this is an excellent opportunity. What You'll Do In this role, you will support a senior advisor and the broader advisory team with client service, meeting preparation, follow-up, and relationship management.Responsibilities include:
Supporting senior advisors in the ongoing management of client relationships and new prospect opportunities. Responding to client calls and emails in a timely, professional, and organized manner. Preparing paperwork, account documents, meeting materials, client review materials, and follow-up items. Assisting with client onboarding, service requests, account updates, and other client-related needs. Helping gather client data and prepare financial planning information. Updating CRM records and keeping client activity, tasks, and follow-up items organized. Participating in client and prospect meetings when appropriate to build experience and confidence. Coordinating with advisors, operations, and other team members to make sure client needs are handled efficiently. Learning the firm's planning process, service standards, systems, and client communication approach. Taking on more client-facing responsibilities as knowledge, confidence, and performance grow.Qualifications include:
2 to 5 years of experience in wealth management, brokerage, private wealth, financial planning, or a similar advisor-support role. Series 65 or comparable securities licensing strongly preferred. Life and health licensing is a plus. CFP coursework, CFP candidacy, or recently completed CFP exam is a plus. Experience with client service, meeting preparation, paperwork, follow-up, and advisor support. Strong organization and attention to detail. Professional communication skills and a client-first mindset. Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing advisory environment. Strong coachability and willingness to learn from experienced advisors. Desire to grow into more client-facing responsibility over time. What Success Looks Like:
Success in this role means becoming a trusted extension of the senior advisor and broader team. The right person will improve responsiveness, organization, follow-through, and the overall client experience. Over time, success also means developing into a more confident client-facing professional. You will gain exposure to planning conversations, relationship management, client reviews, and prospect meetings while building the technical and interpersonal foundation needed to grow into a broader advisor role. Ideal Fit This could be a great fit for someone who: Wants to grow as an advisor but still values mentorship and structure. Enjoys client interaction and relationship support. Is tired of pure cold calling and wants to be part of an established platform. Wants exposure to financial planning, investment management, insurance, annuity, and tax-planning conversations. Is organized, responsive, and dependable. Thrives in a high-energy, team-oriented culture. Wants to be part of a growing firm with strong marketing, strong leadership, and real upward mobility. Why Join? This is an opportunity to join a growing advisory firm with a strong culture, established client flow, and a team-based model designed to help advisors succeed. Our client is looking for someone who wants to learn, contribute, and grow. If you are early in your advisory career and looking for a better platform, more mentorship, and a clear path to bigger client-facing responsibility, this role could be an excellent next step. How toApply:
