Job Description:

Advise clients on legal transactions, potential liability, and legal rights and obligations. Represent clients in civil litigation and other legal proceedings before courts or government agencies.

The duties may include:

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating settlement agreements for clients involved in Class Action disputes with employers, ensuring that all terms are legally sound, fair, and aligned with clients' best interests.
• Providing legal guidance on matters related to wage and hour as well as PAGA employment disputes.
• Analyzing legal risks and advising clients on the potential outcomes of litigation vs. settlement, ensuring informed decision-making.
• Filing motions and other pleadings with courthouses throughout the State of California in order to gain court approval on settlement transactional agreements.

Minimum Requirement:

Requires a U.S. Professional Law Degree (Juris Doctor - J.D.) or a foreign equivalent, licensed to practice law in California, and a minimum of 6 months experience.

Travel:

Inside the BLS area of employment for Court Appearances, Depositions, and Mediations when needed.
