Associate, Bookstore-Florissant Valley

Position Summary The Associate, Bookstore performs duties necessary to operate the bookstore in receiving, stocking, and shipping textbooks and merchandise. Primary Duties Performed Receives, inspects, and verifies shipments of textbooks and supplies Prices textbooks and supplies using appropriate coding procedures Stocks books and supplies and assists in arranging items for special sales and promotions Participates in inventories and checks and prepares overstock and defective textbooks for return shipment to vendors May transport stock to various campus locations Additional duties as assigned Qualifications/Experience High School Diploma or equivalent with one (1) year of related full-time experience Working Conditions Generally works in a bookstore

Constantly required to lift and carry items weighing 25-50 pounds Constantly required to stand for extended periods Regularly required to bend, stoop, and reach
