Please submit your responses to the attached questions along with a current copy of your resume. About the Position We're currently hiring associate clinicians who have a passion and experience working with children 5+ and families. This is a part-time role with the opportunity to transition to full-time as your caseload grows, typically within two to three months. Clinicians have flexibility to craft their own schedule within the posted days and hours, with a minimum of 20 billable client hours per week required. This position is based exclusively at our Clovis clinic. We are specifically seeking clinicians who are comfortable working with children 5+, adolescents, families, and couples, as well as members of the LGBTQ+ community. About Lotus-Like Psychotherapy & Wellness Center Lotus-Like Psychotherapy & Wellness Center is a social justice-oriented private practice with three locations in the Fresno area — Fig Garden, Downtown Fresno, and our newest clinic in Clovis. Compassion and community are at the heart of everything we do. From a non-denominational, holistic framework, we go beyond traditional therapy to serve our clients and the broader community through free yoga and sound bath classes, an in-office food pantry, and free workshops and groups on parenting, mindfulness, healthy relationships, and life transitions. We believe the community needs more than therapists — we actively seek creative ways to foster lasting change in the lives of our clients. This philosophy extends to supporting new clinicians in developing their approach, skills, and confidence to better serve the community. We provide services to individuals ages 5-99 and couples. Our practice is affirming to LGBTQ+ individuals, people in non-traditional relationships, and marginalized communities. Common presenting concerns include trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. We do not provide intensive outpatient or crisis services, and clinicians are not expected to be on-call or available outside of scheduled hours. Our client base is primarily low-to-moderate acuity. Associate clinicians primarily serve recipients of Medi-Cal (CalViva/Blue Cross), Cigna, Optum/United Healthcare, Anthem Blue Shield, other private and statewide Medi-Cal plans, and cash-pay clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an associate building hours toward licensure — with an established referral pipeline, you can focus on clinical work without the burden of marketing. Our Team & Culture Our team includes both licensed and associate clinicians. We value diversity, flexibility, and the unique perspectives each clinician brings to our mission. Many staff members hold additional roles in the community — as professors, small business owners, yoga instructors, crisis workers, and clinicians at universities and other organizations. We seek team-oriented, empathetic, and professional clinicians who are passionate about serving clients with mild-to-moderate presentations, particularly from marginalized communities. Who We're Looking For The ideal candidate is a BBS-registered associate clinician (ASW, AMFT, or APCC) — or actively awaiting their number — who is comfortable working independently, values flexibility, and wants to contribute their unique skills and interests to our community mission. Prior experience with diagnosis and treatment planning is a plus. While the primary expectation is individual therapy, clinicians are welcome to facilitate groups or workshops based on client need and personal interest. Accurate, coherent, and timely documentation is expected. Qualifications Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field ASW, AMFT, or APCC licensure (registered or in process with the BBS) Experience providing therapy to individuals and couples Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques Strong assessment, diagnostic, and clinical judgment skills Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans Excellent communication, interpersonal, and accountability skills Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations Strong organizational and time management skills Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems Bilingual in English/Spanish, Hmong, Hindi, or Arabic — a plus What We Provide HIPAA-compliant EHR system (fully paperless workflow) HIPAA-compliant phone, email, cloud storage, and fax services Business cards and promotional materials Dedicated office space, utilities, and necessary supplies Liability insurance Paid clinical supervision from experienced supervisors committed to your licensure journey Mentorship and support in building your clinical career Access to licensure exam study materials Financial assistance for specialized trainings and certifications (e.g., EMDR, ACT) No-show compensation PTO and sick leave for all staff, including part-time Full-time benefits — additional PTO, stipends, and perks — upon transitioning to 35+ hours per week Health insurance for full-time staff Opportunity to remain with the center post-licensure with a significant compensation increase and additional benefits What Is Not Provided Psychology Today profile listing (available at the clinician's own discretion and expense) Reimbursement for CEU or BBS fees Laptop or computer for remote work Compensation Pay ranges from $30- 45/hour, scaled by experience and hours accumulated toward licensure.
