Plan, organize and implement program goals and activities Teach the assigned classes of students in the clinical setting according to the overall goals and objectives of the program, advancing the students' knowledge of the subject matter. Adhere to clinical schedule. Evaluate and provide student feedback according to guidelines. Communicate with program Directors/Dean. Comply with policy and procedures of Hinds Community College and clinical agency. Complete all required clinical agency training. This is a clinical adjunct position. Pay is hourly. Hours vary based on program needs. Typically, clinical is two (2) days per week- Mon/Tues or Wed/ Thurs or Sat/Sun. Must be willing to work all scheduled clinical days to be considered for position.QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Master's Degree with a major in Nursing and a minimum of two (2) years of experience as a registered nurse. Medical/Surgical experience preferred. Must hold an unencumbered registered nurse license to practice in Mississippi. Must satisfy a criminal history background check, drug screen, and other clinical requirements.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND

Aptitude Maintain current professional credentials and certifications as required in respective field. Cooperate in the execution of the college, center, division, and program policies, procedures and guidelines. Implement teaching strategies that engage learners in active learning. Utilize technology in teaching in the clinical setting. Complete required professional development activities by designated deadlines. Participate in other professional development activities, professional associations, presentations, publications, applied educational research, consulting, evaluations, and similar activities which enhance the individual, the health-related profession, and the education profession. Maintain and provide current documentation of all professional requirements (NAH Faculty and Staff Canvas Site:
Faculty Professional Requirements) Attitude Conduct oneself in a professional manner appropriate to the time, place, and type of teaching/learning experience. Consistently follow College policies and procedures. Consistently follow Nursing and Allied Health procedures and guidelines. Consistently follow program procedures and guidelines. Demonstrate fairness in the assessment and evaluation of students. Collaborate with others to improve educational experiences. Accept responsibility for personal behaviors and actions. Respond to feedback in a receptive manner and incorporate feedback in developing annual goals. Participate in student/faculty and faculty/administrator evaluations and performance review conferences. Maintain professional boundaries with students in all interactions. Willingly serve on College, Center, division, and program committees as appointed. Demonstrate active engagement by participating in program assessment and evaluation, including College annual planning activities and state and/or national accreditation activities. Attendance Work contractual scheduled hours according to program needs. Meet all assigned clinical hours/ days. Arrive on time and stay for assigned length of time for all duty days. Notify immediate supervisor in a timely manner of any unplanned tardiness or absence. Submit to program chairperson an accurate record of attendance by designated deadlines. Attend general faculty, center, division, and program meetings, as available. Attend required professional development activities (mostly virtually). Attention Check College e-mail daily during the work week and respond in a timely manner. Provide feedback to students in a timely manner. Maintain confidentiality of student information. Submit documentation required by College or Program by published deadlines. Follow program chain of command to communicate issue or concerns, utilizing College Policy, Procedure, and Personnel Manual (refer to My.Hinds:
College Manuals). Appearance Present a personal appearance in keeping with established Hinds Community College Dress Code (refer to My.Hinds:
College Manuals). Follow program dress code requirements. Follow clinical agency dress code requirements as identified by clinical agency guidelines.PHYSICAL DEMANDS
