Glatfelter provides their insureds with comprehensive insurance solutions including property, casualty, life insurance, and more. About the Position Glatfelter Insurance Group is seeking an Associate Financial Analyst for our Finance Department who will support financial planning, accounting, accounts receivable, and analysis activities to drive informed business decisions. This position is required to be onsite at our York, PA, Leader Heights office. Key Responsibilities Develop a broad understanding of finance and accounting duties to serve as both a contributor and back-up to critical roles and functions. Assist as AR, AP, and/or Payroll key support and backup associate. Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes. Assist in the monthly, quarterly, and annual parent company financial reporting process. Assist with the annual budgeting process, expense management, and cost allocation processes. Build and maintain financial models to support business initiatives and expense management. Support development of enhanced management financial reporting packages. Contribute to process improvement initiatives. Contribute to the overall enhancement of financial controls. Takes advantage of opportunities for professional growth and continued education. Maintains a high level of confidentiality and a professional demeanor in the performance of duties. What We're Looking For BS in Accounting from an accredited college or university. 0-3 years work experience in professional environment, or appropriate transferable skillset Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (financial modeling, pivot tables, data analysis) Familiarity with financial systems (e.g. Oracle) Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Ability to work with minimum supervision and interpret and follow guidelines and procedures Desire to maintain and expand level of technical skills and professional demeanor Why Choose Glatfelter?
