Entry level / Student Worker / Early career Responsibilities As an Associate Engineer at TravelOperations, you will play a role in developing small to mid-sized extensions and contribute to our Enterprise solution.Your responsibilities will include:
Design, develop, and modify AOT (Application Object Tree) elements, including tables, classes, forms, and data entities, to extend functionality Use Chain of Command (CoC), event handlers, and delegates to create extensible features Create technical documentation (Technical design) of the customizations Participate in code reviews, testing, and CI/CD pipelines Self-educate on new patterns, frameworks, and technologies in general, and if explicitly expected from the development tasks Communicate with application consultants and the Engineering Team and obtain an understanding of the business requirements and modifications to support the requirements What you will learn X++ specifics vs C#/.NET Extension patterns and eventing Secure development processes Microsoft Azure solution landscape basics Environmental strategy, testing, and CI/CD pipelines Working with an international team Desired Skills & Requirements Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts Knowledge of relational databases (SQL) Prior C# development skills (must have) or X++ development skills (nice-to-have) Experience working with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems (nice-to-have) Good problem-solving skills and troubleshooting abilities Good English communication skills What awaits you?
