Job Description
Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Licensed Athletic Trainer, where you will play a vital role in promoting athlete health, optimizing performance, and preventing injuries. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work closely with athletes, coaches, and medical professionals to deliver expert care, develop personalized injury prevention strategies, and enhance overall physical well-being. Your expertise will help athletes achieve their peak potential while ensuring safe and effective recovery when injuries occur. Duties Assess and evaluate athlete injuries through comprehensive physical examinations and physiological assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focusing on injury prevention, rehabilitation, and performance enhancement Provide health coaching on topics such as nutrition, body mechanics, and injury risk reduction to optimize athletic performance Educate athletes on proper conditioning techniques, sports medicine best practices, and effective use of body mechanics for injury prevention Maintain detailed medical documentation, including treatment records, progress notes, and injury reports in compliance with healthcare standards Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, coaches, and other healthcare providers to coordinate care plans Conduct routine follow-ups to monitor recovery progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to sports medicine and injury management Proficiency in health coaching techniques to motivate athletes toward healthier lifestyles and injury prevention habits Expertise in sports medicine practices including injury assessment, rehabilitation exercises, and body mechanics optimization Excellent communication skills for educating athletes on nutrition, injury prevention strategies, and proper training techniques Ability to analyze athletic movements and biomechanics to identify risk factors and improve performance efficiency Passion for promoting athlete health through evidence-based practices combined with a proactive approach to injury management This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on athlete health while advancing your career in sports medicine.
