Job Title:
Associate Manufacturing Job Description The Associate Manufacturing professional provides hands-on support to daily manufacturing operations in an onsite, day-shift environment. This role executes assigned tasks in alignment with cGMP requirements, site standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety standards to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient production. The position focuses on equipment readiness, material movement, accurate documentation, and maintaining a clean, organized manufacturing area while collaborating closely with operators, supervisors, and cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Execute assigned manufacturing support activities in accordance with approved SOPs, batch records, and cGMP requirements. Support equipment setup, breakdown, changeovers, cleaning, and sanitization to ensure readiness for production. Perform material staging, movement, and reconciliation of consumables and components to support continuous manufacturing flow. Accurately complete GMP documentation, including batch records, logbooks, and forms, in real time. Maintain manufacturing area readiness by upholding housekeeping, 5S, and visual management standards. Identify, document, and promptly escalate deviations, discrepancies, safety concerns, or abnormal conditions to appropriate personnel. Participate in shift handoffs, daily huddles, and cross-functional communication to support consistent and aligned operations. Complete all required training and consistently comply with safety, quality, and data integrity expectations. Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute ideas to enhance safety, quality, and operational efficiency. Essential Skills Demonstrated ability to execute assigned tasks dependably in a shift-based, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Clear verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with operators, supervisors, and support teams. Willingness and ability to learn new processes, adapt to changing priorities, and work effectively within cross-functional manufacturing teams. Understanding of and adherence to cGMP requirements and site SOPs. Strong attention to detail for accurate completion of GMP documentation, batch records, logbooks, and forms. Ability to follow safety standards and promptly recognize and escalate safety concerns or abnormal conditions. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous GMP manufacturing experience preferred. High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of work experience; or an associate degree with at least 6 months of work experience; or a bachelor's degree. Familiarity with production environments and basic manufacturing workflows. Comfort with supporting equipment setup, breakdown, cleaning, and sanitization activities. Interest in participating in continuous improvement initiatives and contributing to process enhancements. Work Environment This is a fully onsite, day-shift role in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment. Work takes place in a fast-paced, shift-based production setting that requires consistent adherence to safety, quality, and data integrity standards. The role involves hands-on work around production equipment, material handling, and routine cleaning and sanitization activities. Team members participate in daily huddles and shift handoffs and collaborate closely with cross-functional colleagues. The environment emphasizes organization and cleanliness, supported by 5S and visual management practices. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Holly Springs, NC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
