Job Description

Join a growing, privately owned veterinary practice just outside of Raleigh, NC as an Associate Veterinarian.
Job Description:
We're excited to be partnering with a deeply rooted, privately owned small-animal hospital in North Carolina that is looking to welcome a full-time Associate Veterinarian to its team. Established in 2014, this standalone clinic has grown steadily alongside its loyal client base and is now expanding its footprint with three additional exam rooms, a brand-new second surgery suite, expanded lobby space, and increased treatment capacity. This is a practice that invests in its people, its medicine, and its community. You'd be joining a cohesive team of two veterinarians—a highly experienced DVM owner and a part-time GP/IM-trained doctor—and a long-tenured support staff including RVTs with 4-7 years of tenure, cross-trained assistants, and dedicated reception personnel. The culture is warm, collaborative, and proudly family-oriented; turnover here is exceptionally low, and many employees have been with the hospital for years. Clinical quality is supported by a strong diagnostic and surgical setup, including ultrasound, CR radiography, in-house laboratory analyzers (CBC, hematology, clotting, urinalysis), VetScan Imagist, dental equipment, and therapeutic laser. With the hospital actively growing—and even exploring future equine/large animal services—there is genuine opportunity to help shape the next stage of its development. Your week would balance appointments and surgery, typically across four days plus one Saturday morning per month, with no on-call, no after-hours, and no emergency shifts. Appointment lengths average 30-45 minutes, ensuring thorough, relationship-based medicine. Each DVM is paired with two dedicated technicians or assistants, giving you strong support throughout your day. New graduates will find mentorship from both doctors, with protected time and a personalized ramp-up plan.
