Description The Bredel Veterinary Clinic at the HART Animal Center is in search of an Associate Veterinarian to join a 2-veterinarian full-service animal hospital and animal adoption center located in a four-season resort area in the mountains of Western Maryland. The Bredel Clinic features state-of-the-art equipment, including digital radiology, ultrasound, full Idexx lab, and true isolation, as well as an excellent support staff. We have an amazing team that works very well together. HART for Animals is a unique nonprofit organization that differs greatly from typical shelter medicine and general practice hospitals. We offer both in one facility. As a non-profit employer, veterinarians may also qualify for Public Service Loan Forgiveness. The HART Animal Center houses the Bredel Clinic and the Bed 'n Bark Inn pet hotel. These revenue centers support and sustain the operations and basic functions of the Center, including HART's core mission, the Animal Adoption Wing. We have built a compassionate team dedicated to our clients and proud of providing high-quality care with a personal approach. Every staff member and volunteer directly contributes to the success of our practice and to saving the lives of homeless animals. The Bredel Clinic provides care for the pets of second-home owners in the resort community, as well as for our local neighbors' pets. In addition to our full-service care, we offer low- and no-cost spay/neuters for pets of low-income owners and provide all veterinary care to animals awaiting their new homes in the Adoption Wing. Our clients come from all walks of life - we pride ourselves on treating everyone with the same high level of service, no matter what their circumstances. Requirements Maintain an active Maryland Veterinary License, or be willing to obtain one. No sanctions with the Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners.
