Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Associate Veterinarian to join a clinic. In this role, you will provide a full spectrum of high-quality medical, surgical, and preventive care services to pets across all life stages. You will work closely with our experienced veterinary support team to conduct thorough exams, diagnose illnesses, execute treatment plans, and perform essential surgeries and dental procedures. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is deeply committed to client satisfaction, patient well-being, and continuous professional development. Job Roles and Responsibilities Provide comprehensive medical, surgical, and preventive care to patients across all life stages. Conduct thorough physical examinations, accurately diagnose illnesses, and develop effective, individualized treatment plans. Perform routine and advanced soft-tissue surgeries, as well as comprehensive dental procedures. Maintain highly accurate, detailed, and up-to-date medical records for all patient care. Collaborate seamlessly with veterinary technicians, assistants, and clinic staff to ensure smooth daily operations and top-tier patient care. Communicate effectively with pet owners, offering clear guidance, education, and compassionate support regarding their pet's health and treatment options. Stay current with industry advancements, treatments, and best practices through continuous professional development.
Qualifications and Certifications Education:
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree from an accredited veterinary institution.
Licensure:
Active state veterinary licensure in Pennsylvania (or the eligibility to rapidly obtain PA licensure).
Experience:
Proven competence in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide variety of medical cases. Previous experience in urgent care or a fast-paced veterinary setting is a strong plus.
Technical Skills:
High proficiency in performing veterinary surgeries and dental procedures.
Soft Skills:
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
